TICK IDENTIFICATION KEY

Amblyomma

Ablyomma genus comprises approximately 102 species worldwide, the most famous being A. americanum. Two other species are particularly important in Africa as they cause major economic losses in the cattle industry, namely: A. variegatum and A. hebraeum.
