I am senior lecturer at the University of Lincoln, UK. Before joining Lincoln I was a JSPS researcher at Kyushu University, Japan. I received my PhD in Computer Science from the University of Freiburg, Germany. I am originally from Spain.
I am member of the Lincoln Centre for Autonomous Systems Research (L-CAS), University of Lincoln, UK. I am also a collaborative researcher at Kurazume and Iwashita Lab, and at Laboratory for Image and Media Understanding, both at Kyushu University, Japan.
I like to apply computer science solutions (mainly machine learning and AI) to solve problems in different areas such as service robotics, bioengineering, ambient assisted living, and quality of life technologies in general, with the main aim of improving people's daily life.
